ABOUT
The Person Behind NAVIGATEUS
Credential-backed, cross-Atlantic, bilingual. Built for one specific problem.
“European companies entering the U.S. for the first time face a system that operates nothing like home — and most HR teams aren’t equipped to navigate it alone. That’s the exact gap NAVIGATEUS was built to fill.”
Elisabeth Lantmeeters
Elisabeth Lantmeeters is the founder and sole principal of NAVIGATEUS LLC. She holds three recognized human resources credentials — the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) — alongside a Master of Science in Work & Organizational Psychology.
That combination is rare: it reflects both global HR strategy expertise and deep, practical knowledge of U.S. employment compliance, grounded in an understanding of how people and organizations actually function across cultures.
Not a theory. A path she's walked
Elisabeth has managed HR operations across European and U.S. markets simultaneously, including firsthand experience guiding European-headquartered organizations through their first U.S. hires, EOR transitions, and entity setups.
She has also lived the EU-to-U.S. transition herself. That means the compliance questions, cultural adjustments, vendor decisions, and day-to-day realities of operating in a new system are not theoretical — they’re lived experience. That perspective sits behind every client engagement and makes her guidance more grounded than what a purely desk-based consultant can offer.
Communication Without Barriers
Elisabeth is fluent in English, Dutch, and German, which allows her to work directly with Belgian, Dutch, and German-speaking leadership teams — no translation layer, no miscommunication.
NAVIGATEUS is headquartered in Bixby, Oklahoma and serves clients remotely across the United States and Europe.
Cross-Border Experience, Real Insight
Moving from Belgium to Germany—and later from Germany to the United States—gave Elisabeth a rare, layered perspective on how business actually works across systems.
It’s not just about cultural differences. It’s about seeing—firsthand—how decisions are made, how organizations operate, and where friction emerges when companies scale across borders. Each move sharpened those contrasts: what Europe does well, where it over-engineers, how Germany brings structure and precision, and how the U.S. drives speed and execution.
That lived experience creates clarity that can’t be learned from the outside. It allows Elisabeth to anticipate gaps, translate context without a translation layer, and help companies avoid the blind spots that typically trip them up when they expand internationally.
That perspective is what NAVIGATEUS brings to every engagement — practical, grounded, and shaped by experience across Belgium, Germany, and the United States.

How I Work
Integrity
Clear scope, honest advice, and transparent pricing. I refer clients to attorneys and specialists when a matter is outside my scope — and I say so upfront, before work begins, not after.
Practicality
Every deliverable is a tool you can use immediately — not a 60-page report that sits in a folder. Templates, checklists, and playbooks built for founders and HR teams, not for consultants.
Partnership
Long-term client relationships matter more than individual project outcomes. I build engagements that set clients up to succeed independently — and I stay available when new questions arise.
